Reaching Childhood Milestones with Shot at Life

What childhood milestone do you remember that you are excited about your child achieving?  Taking a first step? The first day of kindergarten? Learning to drive a car? A first date? Here’s a milestone that I think every child deserves to reach.

I think every child deserves a shot at riding a bike because it’s a rite of passage for kids and parents alike.  Both of our kids have been riding two wheelers for years now and there was nothing like seeing the expression on their faces turn from uncertainty to excitement as the bike wobbled and they took off around the park, doing loop after loop after loop until they were tired of pedaling.

Stand up for childhood and share what you want to give every child around the world a shot at by visiting ShotatLife.org for more information about how you can help vaccinate children around the world against preventable diseases like polio, pneumonia, measles, and diarrhea or reading my previous post about the Shot@Life campaign.

I am sharing this information because I believe Shot@Life can give each child around the world the future they deserve.  Fabulous video done by Emily of Born Lucky Studios at the United Nations Foundation Shot@Life I recently attended.  No compensation was received for this post.
